Have you been looking for a Assistance/Service Dog trainer ?  Do you want to properly train a Personal Protection Dog?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, look no further than the American Canine Institute in Fruitland - Idaho!

DOGGIE DAYCARE
Bring your dog to us while you at work and let him/her play with other dogs in a controlled and safe environment. Remember that 90% of dog misbehavior problems can be traced back to lack of exercise and socialization.
BOARDING
When your out of town for a vacation or family emergency or just about anything else where its just not convenient to take your furbaby with you, bring them to us where they will be warm, safe and happy!  We won't just keep them in a kennel, we will let them out where they can play with other dogs and have the time of their life.   They will also get much needed interaction with humans by having some one on one play time. Large 5x10 foot kennels with climate control so they are never too cold or too hot.
BOARD AND TRAIN PACKAGES
When your busy schedule will not allow the time for you to bring your dog to class you can bring your dog to us for a short period and we will train him/her for you.  We have a 14 day package which most dogs will do fine with and a 28 day package that the most subborn few or those with existing behavior problems need.  The dogs are boarded at our training facility in a large 5x10 foot kennel with a clean climate controlled environment

Service Dogs for Disabled Kids Program

ACI-Idaho Service Dogs for Disabled Kids Program is a program where we provide and train Service Dogs for disabled children who desperately need a Service Dog and cannot afford one.  We provide these Service Dogs free of charge however, only through donations of the community.  Each dog is required to complete a minimum of 120 hours of training and for some dogs it is much longer.  The average cost of each dog is $10,000.00. If you are interested in supporting this program please contact John Butcher, Master Trainer at 541-889-4304 208-488-5021 or at [email protected]com.

Tails Are Wagging and Canines Are Bragging About Us

  • We are a canine training provider offering training classes for all breeds of dogs. Since 1983, we have been providing clients with a place to bring their dogs for proper training and canine education in California, and now we are bringing the same quality of service to Idaho serving the communities within a 100-mile radius of Fruitland, Idaho.

  • It is our goal to educate owners on how to properly communicate with their dog, and each of our training classes has been designed to meet your specific needs. They are structured to achieve continued progress from your pet.

  • Our trainers take the time to educate you on how to understand your dog's body language and about pack hierarchy, which in turn will allow you to better communicate your desires to your pet.

Canine Training You Can Trust for Your Furry Family Member

We are able to offer classes on a regular basis. We have no waiting lists because all of our classes are continuous entry.
